Last week Carlie 'graduated' from the Bridges program at our church. She went Tuesday through Friday mornings from 9:15 to 11:45 and really loved it. The class was small, only 12 students, and there were 2 teachers..... so she got a lot of attention and became close with her classmates. I must say that I became very tearful, even before 'graduation' day, my mind was just filled with so many different emotions! Thinking about her leaving her friends that she got to know so well throughout the year, being so thankful for her wonderful teachers that were such a positive influence for her, thinking of her starting kindergarten in the fall...... I could barely hug her teacher because I began crying..... not sad tears but tears of appreciation and gratitude, well, maybe a little bit sad. :-)
I'm so very thankful that God has given me such a special girl to raise and love. It blows me away when I think about how much I love her, and to know that God loves us more than that is almost mind-boggling, and yet He does.

I can so relate on the crying thing! What a great post this was. If it makes you feel better I cried reading it:)
